Gilded Lead Star
This ornate gilded lead star is thought to have been used to decorate an interior wall or ceiling.
Beautiful decorative gilt roundel features a central six peta flower or star design and has a possible attachment hole to help fix it to clothing. Similar examples to the one found at Glastonbury Abbey have been found in London that date from the late 14th to early 15th centuries, and would have potentially decorated clothing of those at the abbey.
